Bagaha : ADJ 1, Bagaha, Durgesh Mani Tripathi, on November 24, 2018, sentenced Kailash Ram of village Banchahari under Bagaha police station in Bagaha police district, to 10 years’ of imprisonment besides slapping a fine of Rs 10,000 on him in an attempt murder case.

Giving details of the case, Jitendra Bharti, Additional Public Prosecutor (APP) Incharge, Civil Court, Bagaha, said that one Aniruddh Ram of the same village had lodged the case on November 21, 2005, with Bagaha police station against Kailash Ram. Aniruddh alleged that there was clash between his children and that Kailash Ram in which he had sustained serious injuries. There were 10 witnesses in the case of which 9 deposed before the court and supported prosecution but the Investigating Officer (IO) of the case did not appear before the court.
