Top seed Viktor Axelsen beat Duarte Nuno Anjo,22, Portugal, 21-8, 21-7 in just 26 minute to reach the second round while third seed Shi Yuqi beat World No 93 Adam Mendrek, 22, Czech Republic, 21-13, 21-11 in 38 minute the first round. H S Prannoy, India, the 11th seed, beat Abhinav Manota, Australia, 21-12, 21-11 in 28 minute. World No 9 Lin Dan, China, the 9th seed, beat World No 31 Mark Caljouw, Netherland, 21-14, 21-14 in 49 minute to move into the next round.
