Patna : Australia scored a massive 334/5 in 50 overs against India in the 4th ODI at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru, on September 28, 2017, with David Warner scoring 124 and Aaron Finch 94 runs. The first Australian wicket fell on 231 runs when Warner was out for 124 to Kedar Jadhav. Warner hit 12 four and 4 sixes. The second Australian wicket too fell on 231 when Umesh Yadav dismissed Finch.

Yadav took 4/71 in ten overs. Mohd Shami conceded 62 runs in 10 overs but failed to get any wicket. Skipper S Smith scored only three runs while P Handscombe made 43. Australia scored 85 runs in last ten overs. India dropped Jasprit Bumrah, Bhuvaneshwar Kumar and Kuldip Yadav and brought in pacers Shami and Yadav and spinner Axar Patel. Patel conceded 66 runs in his 10 overs without getting a wicket.
