Patna : Resuming at their overnight score of 80/4, Australia were all out for 250 in 94.3 overs just before tea on Day 4 in their first innings of  2nd Ashes Test against England at Lord’s, London, on August 17, 2019, night, with Steven Smith scoring 92 in 161 balls hitting 14 fours.

Smith was hit on the side of his helmet by a Jofra Archer bouncer bowled at 92.4 mph speed when he was on 80 and had retired hurt. But, he returned to the crease after fall of Peter Siddle’s wicket. Smith has been dismissed in nineties thrice in tests.

For England, Sturat Broad took 4/65 in 27.3 overs while Chris Woakes took 3/61 in 19 ovders. Jofra Archer took 2/59 in 29 overs while spinner Jack Leach took 1/19 in 11 overs.

England had scored 258 in their first innings with opener Rory Burns scoring 53 and Jonny Bairstow 9wk) scoring 52.
