Patna : Australia beat India by eight wickets in the second T20 International at Barsapara Cricket Stadium, Guwahati, on october 10, 2017, to level the three-match T20 1-1. Replying to India’s 118 made in 20 overs, Australia scored 122/2 in 15.3 overs with M Henriques scoring an unbeaten 62 and T Head 48 not out.  Ausralian skipper David Warner scored two run while Aaron Finch fell on eight. For India, Jasprit Bumrah and Bhuvaneshwar Kumar took a wicket each.

Earlier, asked to bat first, India made a diastrous start losing four wickets for only 27 runs. Rohit Sharma was out on 8 while skipper Virat Kohli failed to score. Both Shikhar Dhawan and Manish Pandey made two runs each. Kedar Jadhav was the top scorer for India with 27 runs followed by Hardik Pandya with 25 runs while Kuldip Yadav made 16 and M S Dhoni 13.
