Patna : Australia were all out for 125 runs in 20 overs against England in a Group 1 match of ICC T20 World Cup at Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai, UAE, on October 30, 2021, night, as fast bowler Chris Jordan took three wickets while fellow fast bowlers Chris Woakes and Tymal Mills took two wickets each. England had won the toss and opted to bowl.

Australia were reduced to 41/4 after 10 overs but still scored 125 runs due to some big hittings by spinner Ashton Agar ( 2 sixes) and fast bowlers Pat Cummins ( 2 sixes), and Mitchess Starc ( 1 four and 1 four). Captain Aaron Finch ( opener) was the top scorer for Australia with 44 runs in 49 balls with 4 fours. His opening partner David Warner fell to Chris Woakes for 1 making it 7/1.

Steven Smith fell to Chris Jordan for 1 and it was 8/2. Glenn Maxwell fell to Woakes for zero making it 15/3. All-rounder Marcus Stoinis fell to spinner Adil Adil Rashid for zero and it was 21/4. Matthew Wade (wk) fell to leg spinner Liam Livingstone for 18 making it 51/5. But, Finch and spinner Ashton Agar added 47 runs for the 6th wicket. Agar fell to Tymal Mills for 20 after hitting Woakes for 2 sixes on successibe ball in 17th over and it was 96/6.

Finch fell to Jordan for 44 and it was 110/7. Pat Cummins fell to Jordan for 18 hitting Tymal Mills for back to back sixes in 18th over. making it 110/8. Jordan took two wickets ( Finch & Cummins) on successive balls in 19th over..
