Patna : Australia were 394/7 after 141 overs in second session of play on Day 2 in their first innings in first test against New Zealand (NZ) at Perth Stadium, :Perth, Australia, on December 13, 2019, with Captain Tim Paine (wk) unbeaten on 37 and fast bowler Mitchell Starc batting on 19.
Resuming at their overnight score of 248/4, Australia lost their 5th wicket at 301 when Marnus Labuschagne fell to fast medium bowler Neil Wagner for 143 in 240 balls with 18 fours and a six. Labuschagne added 76 runs with Travis Head, who fell to pacer Tim Southee for 56 in 97 balls with 10 fours making it 325/6. Pat Cummins fell to spinner Jeet Javal for 20 in 85 balls with 2 fours and it was 363/7.
For NZ, Neil Wagner has taken 3/82 while Tim Southee has taken 2/84. Colin de Grandhomme and Jeet Raval have taken one wicket each.
