Patna : Australia were 180/5 in 63 overs at stumps in their second innings on the third day of the second cricket test against South Africa at St George’s Park, Port Elizabeth, South Africa, on March 11, 2018, with Mitchell Marsh batting on 39 in 119 balls with 3 fours and wicketkeeper Tim Paine batting on 5.

Australian Captain Steven Smith was out for 11 to Keshav Maharaj while opener David Warner fell for 13 to Rabada. Usman Khwaja made 75 in 136 balls with 14 fours. Camron Bancropt made 24 while Shaun Marsh made 1.

South Africa fast bowler Kagiso Rabada took 3/35 while Lungisani Ngidi took 1/ 21 and spinner Keshav Maharaj 1/70. Rabada had also taken five wickets in Australia’s first innings.

Earlier, South Africa were all out for 382 in their first first innings riding on an unbeaten 126 by A B de villers taking a first innings lead od 139 runs over Australia who were all out for 243 in their first innings. It was 22nd test century of de Villiers.
