Aurangabad DM Kanwal Tanuj transferred

Patna : Bihar Government on February 26, 2018, transferred Aurangabad DM Kanwal Tanuj, an IAS officer of 2010 batch, in the wake of CBI raids on his office and residential premises recently in connection with alleged irregularities in land acquisition for apower project in the district.

Rahul Ranjan Mahiwal, an IAS officer of  2005 batch of Maharashtra cadre currently on deputation to Bihar and Special Secretary, Rural Development Department, has been appointed as the new DM of Auranganbad. Kanwal Tanuj has been appointed Joint Secretary, Rural Development Department.
