Attendants, Ara Sadar Hospital staff clash, two injured

Ara : Ara Sadar Hospital turned into a battle ground on January 18 after clash between attendants of patients and hospital staff in which two persons were injured and admitted to the hospital. This started when a patient went to pathological counter on the campus of Ara Sadar Hospital on Wednesday to collect pathological report but the employee delayed in handing over the same to him. At this the patient lost his temper and started pressurizing him to expedite but the  employee concerned remained unmoved that led to heated exchange between the two.

Within seconds, other patients and their family members also joined the chorus. Seeing the situation getting ugly, some employees tried to interfere but the patients and their family members resorted to brickbatting in which an employee of pathology department Surendra Singh and a guard of the hospital Sajan Kumar were injured. Later, police arrived and brought the situation under control.
