Ara : Three persons thrashed and seriously injured Assistant Settlement Officer, Jamui, Basukinath Srivastava, and his relative’s son Vivek Kumar, when they went to his native village Nadav under Ara Muffasil police station for harvesting of crops in his field on April 9, 2021.
The villagers rushed them to Ara Sadar Hospital but the doctors referred them to Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH). A named FIR has been lodged with Ara Muffasil police station in this connection. Police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the accused.
Basukinath Srivastava said that his residence is located on Collectorate Road, Buxar, where son of his relative Vivek Kumar lives. He along with Vivek Kumar went to his native village Nadav and as he started getting his crops harvested in his field, Ram Ji Singh along with his sons Sunil Singh and Satyanarayan Singh of the village reached there and allegedly thrashed them unprovoked injuring them seriously.
SHO, Muffasil police station, Manoj Kumar, said that land dispute was said to be reason behind the incident. Police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the named accused.
