ASI tries to molest girl on police station premises in Bagaha

Bagaha: SP, Bagaha Police District, Arbind Kumar Gupta, line closed an ASI of Piparasi police station Santosh Kumar Singh on the charge of misbehaving with a 14 year old girl on police station premises on June 16, 2018.

ASI Santosh Kumar Singh called the girl, who lives nearby with her parents, to the police station premises and was trying to molest her after taking her to an isolated place. But, the girl started screaming and hearing her shout for help local women assembled there and rescued the girl.

Later on, SHO, Piparasi police station, Sanjiv Kumar informed the SP about incident. The SP line closed the ASI. SP Gupta said that SDPO, Bagaha, Sanjeev Kumar, has been asked to inquire into the incident before stern action is taken against the ASI.
