Ashes of former PM Vajpayee immersed at Kaunhara Ghat, Hajipur

Patna : Union Minister of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution Ram Vilas Paswan on August 23, 2018,  attended a condolence meeting held in remembrance of former Prime Minister and Jananayak Atal Bihari Vajpayee at Kaunhara Ghat at Hajipur in Vaishali district in Bihar. After the condolence meeting, the ashes of  Atal Bihari Vajpayee were immersed into river Ganga at Kaunhara Ghat.

Addressing the condolence meeting, Union Minister Paswan said that stature of former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee was bigger than his position. Recalling Vajpayee as a leader with foresight, Paswan said his core philosophy was Sabka Sath Sabka Vikas and his stature was even higher than the Prime Minister and Bharat Ratna, according to a PIB release.
