Ara : An ‘Ashtdhatu’ idol of Lord Vishnu was found in a pond at village Judge Bhadsara  under Bihia police station in Bhojpur district on April 13, 2018, when it was being dug. The idol has been kept at village Chakwath  under Bihia police station and villagers thronged the place to worship the God.

The villagers said that they were digging the Sri Ram Yadav Ka Pokhara at Judge Bhadsara village with JCB to make it deeper when they found a beautiful ashtdhatu idol of Lord Vishnu. Shapes of Lord Hanuman, Goddess Laxmi, Goddess Saraswati and other goddess are inscribed on the idol recovered from the pond. The villagers said that earlier an idol of Lord Ram was also found in the same pond.
