Ara : Around a dozen persons including Gudia Kumari, her father Raja Ram Chaudhary, brother Krishna Chaudhary, Sangeeta Devi, Marachho Devi, Lakhpato Devi, Anjali Kumari, Rani Devi, and Vipati Devi were injured when a speeding truck collided head on with a four-wheeler near village Rupchakia under Chandi police station in Bhojpur District on March 2, 2020, late evening.
The injured were admitted to Ara Sadar Hospital. The doctors there referred one of the injured to Patna Medical College and Hospital. All the injured are residents of Hanuman Chhapara Ekwari village under Sahar police station.
SHO, Chandi police station, said that Gadia Kumari, daughter of Raja Ram Chaudhary of Hanuman Chhapara Ekwari village under Sahar police station in Bhojpur district, was to be married with Baijnath Chaudhary, son of Chandrashekhar Chaudhary of Sadisopur under the same police station in Patna district on March 2, 2020, at Ram Janki temple at Bihta under the same police station. The bride’s family members were going to Ram Janki temple at Bihata in a four-wheeler on March 2, 2020, evening. When they reached near Rupchakia village, a speeding truck collided head-on with the four-wheeler in which around a dozen persons including the bride were injured.
