Armed criminals fire at couple in Simribakhtiarpur, one injured

Saharsa : Two armed criminals fired indiscriminately at Mohammad Taiyyab and his wife Hafida of village Baghwa Gopalpur under Simribakhtiarpr in Saharsa district when they were going to a bank at Balwa Bazaar around 1 pm on January 12. The criminals were waiting for the couple near Kari Jha’s pond and as soon they reached there they  started firing at them. They fired six here rounds of which one hit the leg of Taiyyab, who was rushed to Saharsa Sadar hospital and is out of danger. Sources said that the attack on the couple appears to be related to firing on one Arun Bhagat of the same village about four months back. Bhagat was injured in that incident.
