Ara : A devastating fire gutted a toy and furniture shop ‘Binod Lite‘ located on Bichali road under Town police station, Ara, in Bhojpur district, on April 3, 2018, destroying property worth lakhs of rupees.
SHO, Town police station, said that the employees of ‘Binod Lite‘ opened the shop on April 3, 2018, and had started working when the fire broke out suddenly and in a flash engulfed the entire shop. The SHO said that police rushed to the spot and summoned the fire brigade but the fire tenders reached the spot a little bit late. He said that police with the help of locals rescued at least a dozen persons trapped in the fire.
