Ara : Hundreds of residents of Ara blocked Ara-Patna main road near Sapana Chitra Mandir under Town police station, Ara, from 10 am on September 24, 2017, in protest against the murder of two youth: Sunil Yadav and his friend Bhola Pandey of Anand Nagar locality, Ara, at Bikramganj in Rohtas district recently. They burnt tyres and raised slogans against the district administration and demanded immediate arrest of the culprits. Police officials are trying to pacify the protesters but to no avail so far.
Sunil Yadav’s father Ashok Yadav of Anand Nagar locality under Town police station said that two youth: Chandan and Manish of village Bindgawa under Koelwar police station, came to his house on September 23 and said that they would go to Garhani in Bhojpur district. They took along his son Sunil Yadav and his friend Bhola Pandey of Anand Nagar locality under Town police station while returning to Bikramganj in Rohtas district where they allegedly killed them and escaped. Ashok Yadav said that he recognized the body of his son and Bhola Pandey from their clothes.
