Ara: Several bonafide purchasers of flats are a harried lot as they are not getting possession of their flats or duplex despite making full payment even after four years of agreement reached with the builders concerned.

Dream Heaven House Private Limited took 2.8 bighas of land from Krishna Singh at Ekauna village under Udwanatnagar police station, about 7 km west from Bhojpur district headquarters, Ara, on lease in 2011 for construction of flats and duplex and the company named it ‘Apna Basera.’ Later, the company started selling these flats and duplex to people after taking full payment with a written promise to give possession of the same within 18 months but not a single flat or duplex has been handed over to their bonafide purchasers even after four years, who are left with no option than to file a case in the court against the company.

Dr. Amir Chand Singh, Mani Pandey and others said that the Dream Heaven House Private Limited promised them to hand over the flats and duplex within 18 months but it has failed to even complete the construction of flats and duplex even after four years.  The company closed its Ara office and mobile of its MD remains switched off.

Krishna Singh, land owner, said that the Dream Heaven House Private Limited took 2.5 bighas of land from him on lease with a promise to give him seven flats within 18 months but it was yet to materialise.

Vivek Pandey, MD, Dream Heaven House Private Limited said on mobile that the company is one of the largest commercial property owners and provides better alternative to people. It has specialized in building flats and duplex. He attributed the delay in construction of flats to shortage of labour and ban on digging of sand in the area. He assured that the company would hand over flats/ duplex within six months to the buyers.
