Ara : Additional District and Sessions Judge XI, Ara, sentenced to rigorous life imprisonment three persons including a retired armyman Santosh Kumar alais Raju Rai of village Bartiyer under Sandesh police station, Munna Tiwari of village Basauri, and Jitendra Kumar alias Mithai of Anand Nagar under Town police station, Ara, in connection with murder of a mobile phone shop owner on June 5, 2015. The court also slapped a fine of Rs 20,000 on each of them in the murder case.
APP Vidyawati Kumari said that some miscreants had shot dead a mobile shop owner Mukesh Yadav alias Vikki near Maina Sundar Bhawan on Jail road under Ara town police station on June 5, 2015, at his shop. The deceased was a resident of Shivganj under Ara town police station. An FIR was lodged by Ara town police station on the statement of Lokesh Yadav, brother of the deceased. Old enmity was said to be the reason behind the murder.
