Kumar Rajiv Nayan
Ara : Additional District and Sessions Judge I, Ara, Ramesh Chandra Dwiwedi on May 25, 2018, sentenced to rigorous life imprisonment Pramod Kumar Singh of village Ekbari under Sahar police station in Bhojpur district in a 2013 murder case. The court also slapped a fine of Rs 25,000 on the convict.
Dadan Sharma of Ekwari village under Sahar police station was shot dead on October 29, 2013, when he was returning from the field after attending call of nature, over a trivial issue. A named FIR was lodged against Pramod Kumar Singh and others.
After hearing both the sides, ADJ I Ramesh Chandra Dwiwedi awarded rigorous life imprisonment to Pramod Kumar Singh and also slapped a fine of Rs 25,000 on him.
