Ara court sentences 6 to life imprisonment in mrder case

Ara: Additional District and Sessions Judge, Ist, Ara,  B B Singh on November 3, 2016, sentenced six persons to rigorous life imprisonment including a father – son duo and also slapped a fine of Rs 15,000 on each of them for killing  a person.

Some armed miscreants had shot dead Ramashish Rai at village Sarangdhar  under Shahpur police station on March 24, 2012. A named FIR was lodged with Shahpur police station against six persons: Mantu Rai, Umashankar Rai, his son Munna Rai, Shambhu Nath Singh and his brother Uday Naranayan Rai  and Bala Ji. After hearing both the parties, the ADJ I held all the six named accused guilty of murder.
