Ara court orders for withholding salary of SHO, Udwantnagar PS

Ara : ACJM VII, Ara, Pranav Shankar on February 22, 2019, ordered for withholding the salary of Station House Officer (SHO), Udwantnagar police station in Bhojpur district, till he files report in a car loot case before the court. The court also ordered for sending  a detailed report to the DGP and the IG of the State in this connection.

Surendra Mishra of village Masadh village under Udwantnagar police station had filed a case in the court against some persons in connection with loot of his Bolero in 2016. The court demanded reports in this regard from SHO, Udwantnagar police station, but the police did not send the report. The court served show cause notice on the SHO but he neither sent the report nor replied to the notice. Taking serious note of it, the ACJM VII ordered for withhold the salary of the SHO.
