Ara : Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Ara Civil Court, issued arrest warrant against four former Station House  Officers of four different police stations in Bhojpur district on January 4 for not appearing before the court as witness.

Bhojpur police had raided a video cinema hall at Charugram, Bihata, under Piro police station on August 13, 2007, and seized DVDs, Cassettes and other articles from there. During trial, the court had issued summon to Rajesh Barnwal, the then SHO, Imadpur police station, Rajiv Nayan, the then SHO, Sikarhatta police station, N K Mishra, the then SHO, Agiaw Bazaar police station, and Shabbir Ahmad, the then SHO Charpokhari police station along with others to appear before the court in person as witness but they did not turn up. Taking serious note of it, the court issued warrant of arrest against the SHOs.
