Ara : Additional District and Sessions Judge XIV, Ara, Kumar Narendra Kumar, acquitted all the 8 named accused in in a murder case.

The court acquitted  Sujit Singh, Upendra Singh, Adil Singh, Gajendra Singh, Nirala Singh, Manu Singh, Vijendra Singh,and Rahul Kumar in Lakhi Chand Singh murder case.

Senior Advocate and former Public Prosecutor (PP), Ara Civil Court, Uday Narayan Prasad, said that Sujit Singh, Upendra Singh, Adil Singh, Gajendra Singh, Nirala Singh, Manu Singh, Vijendra Singh,and Rahul Singh with fire -arms went to Lakhi Chand Singh’s place at Tetaria village under Udwantnagar police station in Bhojpur, where he was standing at the gate of his house. They showered volley of abuses at him and when he objected to it, they fired on him killing him on the spot on December 18, 2018, and escaped.

A named FIR was lodged with Udwantnagar police station against the accused under Section 302/34, 149 IPC and 27 Arms Act.

The present PP Nageshwar Dubey and senior advocate Bhuneshwar Tiwari pleaded for the defenders. Binod Singh, brother, Ritesh Singh, nephew, and Bindu Singh, son, were witnesses to the incident. Hearing both the parties, the ADJ XIV, Ara, acquitted all eight named accused in the murder case.
