Ara : A police team from Vishakhapatanam, Andhra Pradesh (AP), with the help of their Bhojpur counterpart, arrested Haroon Khan from Piro under Piro police station on August 31, 2017, in connection with murder of a person there. Later, the Vishakhapatanam police took him with them. Vishakhapatnam is also known as Vizag.
SHO, Piro police station, said that Haroon Khan of Mango area in Jamshedpur in Jharkhand worked as a salesman at the shop of a businessman in Vishakhapatanam and had allegedly embezzled crores of rupees. When the businessman queried, he stabbed him to death on July 17, 2017, at his farm house and fled away from there and came to Piro in Bhojpur district.
The Vishakhapattanam police earlier arrested a relative of Haroon Khan from Jamshedpur and on his revelation arrested Haroon Khan from Piro.
