AO, Directorate of Distance Education, BRABU, Lallan Kumar suspended

Muzaffarpur : Administrative Officer (AO), Directorate of Distance Education, B R Ambedkar Bihar University (BRABU), Muzaffarpur, Lallan Kumar, has been suspended following directive of Governor-cum-chancellor.  VC, BRABU, Dr Pandit Palande issued an order to this effect on January 27 evening.e

Sources said that Kumar is facing vigilance probe. BRABU Registrar Ratnesh Mishra said that Kumar had been suspended for admitting students to MPhil course without MPhil regulation getting approval from the Raj Bhavan. Sources said that hundreds of students had been admitted in MPhil and admission fee was fixed arbitrarily. Students have also demanded probe into admission into BA, MA and BEd courses.
