Ara : An Ara court on July 22, 2017, rejected anticipatory bail petitions of senior HAM(S) leader Danish Rizwan  and BJP leader Indrabhan Singh in Ara businessman Krishna Kumar Singh alias Kumar Ji murder case. Krishna Kumar Singh alias Krishna Ji was shot dead by some armed persons on July 2, 2017.

SHO, Town Police Station, Ara,  J P Singh, said that the two leaders had filed anticipatory bail petitions in the court of District and Sessions Judge on July 5, 2017, which the court rejected on July 22. The court had already ordered to paste Isthehar ( Proclamation) on the walls of the houses of absconding named accused.

Krishna Kumar Singh alias Kumar Ji was shot dead by some armed persons in Padav locality near Model Institute under Town police station at about 11am on July 2,2017 when he was on way to his home.

A named FIR was lodged with the police under town police station against 10 persons including Danish Rizwan, his brothers Md Shaheed and Zamal Asraf,  Indrabhan Singh, a notorious Criminal Chand Mian and his brother Nayeem Mian, Munnu Singh, son of Deputy Mayor, Ara Municipal Corporation (AMC) Malati Devi, Serajuddin, Tibula and Dipua on the statement of Mahesh Yadav who was accompanying the businessman at the time of his murder. Chand Mian, Md Shaheed and Zamal Asraf have already surrendered and are in jail. The police  had also taken them on remand for interrogation. The police had also arrested seven unnamed persons including Gudia Khatoon, sister of Chand  Mian, and her friend, Mehroon Nisha.

The SHO said that police teams had been formed on the direction of Bhojpur SP Kshatranil Singh to arrest the absconding seven named accused. He stated that following the tower location of Danish Rizwan’s mobile phone, a police team had gone to New Delhi but when it reached there, the mobile tower location of Danish Rizwan showed he was in Goa.
