Patna : World No 75 Pablo Andujar, 35, Spain, who had stunned top seed Roger Federer, 39, Switzerland, in 2nd round on May 18, 2021, defeated World No 419 Dominic Stephan Stricker, 18, Switzerland, in a three-set battle on May 20, 2021, to reach the semi-finals of ATP Gonet Geneva Open at Geneva, Switzerland. Andujar beat Stricker 4-6, 6-4, 6-4 in quarter-finals in 2hr 12 minutes overcoming 10 Aces hammered by the Swiss. Andujar served just 1 Ace during the match.

The Spainiard won 5 break points during the match to 4 by the Swiss teenager. Andujar, however, also committed 7 double faults during the match to 4 by Stricker.
