B N Singh “Pappan”
Saharsa : BJP leader Anamika Mithilseh Singh, 39, a native of Murliganj in Madhepura District under Kosi Division in North Bihar, was on June 24, 2020, declared elected unopposed Mayor, South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC). She is Councillor from Hari Nagar since 2017. Her husband Mithilesh Singh, also a BJP leader, is a native of village Khurhan in Madhepura District.
A social worker, Anamika had held the post of Chairperson of DEMS Committee. Her grand-father late Kusheshwar Singh was member of Bihar legislative council for 15 years. Her father Dhirendra Narayan Singh was a teacher at B L Inter High School, Murliganj.
