Motihari ; A motorcycle rally comprising 42 Nepali and Indian bikers, which started from Pashupati Nath Temple, Kathmandu, Nepal, on November 11, 2021, reached Motihari Collectorate, East Champaran District in North Bihar on November 12, 2021.
The bikers were welcomed by East Champaran D M Shirshat Kapil Ashok and SP Navin Chandra Jha and others. They were accorded a warm welcome by the people also when they reached the Gandhi Sanghrayalay, Motihari, where Mahatma Gandhi launched his first Satyagrah against the Britishers’ black rule against the farmers. The bikers paid rich tributes to Mahatma Gandhi at a prayer. T

November 11 to 16, 2021. Prem Bahadur Ale, Tourism and Civil Aviation Minister of Nepal flagged off the rally on Pashupati Nath temple premises on November 11, 2021. He said that the rally aims to strengthen cultural ties between two friendly countries by promoting people to people relation.

The Commander of the bike rally Satyendra Dahiya said, ” We have already visited Gandhi Memorial Pillar at Motihari where Mahatma Gandhi launched his first Satyagrah for poor farmers. Secondly, we will visit Sarnath, UP, where Lord Budha delivered his first sermon after attaining enlightenment. We will also visit Gorakhnath holy temple at Gorakhpur and finally will pay our respect to lord Shiv at
Varanasi on November 16, 2021.
