Amitabh Verma made Chief Advisor, Planning Board, Sunil Singh is new APC

Patna : Bihar government on September 15, 2017, appointed Amitabh Verma, an IAS officer of 1982 batch of Bihar cadre, as the Chief Advisor, Bihar State Planning Board, on his return from central deputation. He was waiting for posting. Sunil Kumar Singh, an IAS officer of 1983 batch who has also returned from central deputation, has been appointed Agriculture Production Commissioner (APC), Patna, Bihar. He was also waiting for posting.

H R Srinivas, an IAS officer of  1996 batch and Secretary ( Resources), Finance Department, has been appointed Commissioner, Tirhut Division, with additional charge of Commissioner, Darbhanga Division.  Commissioner, Darbhanga Division, R K Khandelwal, an IAS officer of 1989 batch, has been relieved for central deputation. Khandelwal has been appointed Joint Secretary, Food and Public Distribution Department, Government of India.

Ms Ashwini Dattatray Thakre, an IAS officer of 2006 batch and Additional Secretary, General Administration Department (GAD), has been transferred to Finance Department as Additional Secretary. Mohd Salim, an IAS officer of 2006 batch and Joint Secretary, Food and Consumer Protection Department, has been appointed Secretary, Board of Revenue, Patna, Bihar.

Jehanabad DM Manoj Kumar Singh, an IAS officer of 2009 batch, has been appointed Resident Commissioner, Bihar Bhavan, New Delhi. Arwal DM Alok Ranjan Ghosh, an IAS officer of 2011 batch, has been appointed DM, Jehanabad. Satish Kumar Singh, an IAS officer of 2008 batch and Additional Secretary, Mines and Geology Department, has been appointed new DM of Arwal.

K K Pathak, an IAS officer of 1990 batch and Principal Secretary cum Mines Commissioner, Mines and Geology Department, has been given additional charge of Director, Mines and Geology Department, Bihar. The General Administration Department issued notification to this effect on September 15.
