Patna : Amir Subhani, a 1987 batch IAS officer and Development, was on December 30, 2021, appointed as the new Chief Secretary of Bihar. Atul Prasad, another 1987 batch IAS offievr and Additional Chief Secretary, Social Welfare Department, has been appointed the new Development Commissioner, Bihar.
The General Administration Department, Bihar Governmnet, issued a notification to this effect on December 30 and the same will come into force with effect from January 1, 2022.
Chaitanya Prasad, a 1990 batch IAS officer and Additional Chief Secretary, Home Department, has been given additional charge of Vigilance Department.
Sandeep Poundrik, a 1993 batch IAS office and Principal Secretary, Planning & Development, has been given additional charge of Principal Secretary, Social Welfare Department.
Sanjay Kumar Agrawal., a 2002 batch IAS officer and Scretary, Tranport FDepartment also holding additional charge of Commissioner, Patna Division, has been appointed Secretary, Water Resources Department.
