Patna : Top Bollywood star Amir Khan has sent a cheque of Rs 25 lakh on behalf of Amir Khan Production Pvt Limited to CM Relief Fund. Amir Khan sent the cheque through post. A seven-member Bihar Industries Association (BIA) delegation led by its president Ram Lal Khetan on September 1, 2017, met CM Nitish Kumar at 1, Anne Marg, and handed him over a cheque of Rs 25 lakh for flood relief work.
BJP Rajya Sabha member Dr C P Thakur has also donated Rs 20 lakh from his MP Fund to CM Relief Fund for carrying out relief works in flood hit Paroo and Sahebganj blocks of Muzaffarpur district. Dr Thakur also donated Rs 8,030 in his personal capacity to CM Relief Fund on August 31, 2017.
