Kumar Rajiv Nayan
Ara : Nitu Singh, a class X student of Government Ambedkar Residential Girls High School on the campus of Zila School, Ara, died for want of medicare on February 11, 2017. She was a resident of village Dhansoi in Buxar district.
After her death, other inmates demanded compensation to her family. When the mediapersons went there to collect news, the Ara SDO prevented them saying he was dictator and no one can send news without his permission. He even snatched camera of a reporter of a local channel and erased all the footages. Civil Surgeon Dr Ras Bihari Singh himself visited the school and declared the student dead.
Nitu Sinjgh was suffering some ailments for the last four days and was admitted to Ara Sadar Hospital on February 10 but she was discharged in the late evening the same day. But, she again complained of giddiness and vomiting tendency on February 11 morning but the school administration did not think it necessary to take her to the hospital and she died in the evening.
Ara SDO Navdeep Shukla appeared on the scene and called in doctor once again. The CS along with other doctors once again examined the girl on the direction of the SDO and administered saline to the already declared dead girl.
