Patna : All the blood samples of birds, soil, and water of Sanjay Gandhi Biological Park (SGBP), Patna, which were sent to National Institute of High Security Animal Disease, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, for test in the wake of outbreak of H5N1 Avian Influenza at the park in the last week of December 2018, have been found negative.
The SGBP authorities received the test report at 5.30 pm on January 8, 2019. The samples of 14 officials/employees have also been found negative, said Director, Sanjay Gandhi Biological Park, Patna. The samples were sent to National Institute of High Security Animal Disease, Bhopal, on December 31, 2018. Altogether 26 samples were sent to Bhopal.
Meanwhile, SGBP remained closed for public even on January 8.
