Patna : World No 21 Felix Auger-Aliassime, 19, Canada, entered the 2nd round of Open Sud de France, an ATP 250 event at Montpellier, France, defeating Qualifier Damir Djumhur, 27, Bosnia & Herzegovina, in a tough three-set contest in first round on February 5, 2020.
Aliassime beat Djumhur 6-7, 6-2, 6-2 in 2hr 29 minutes battling back from one set down. Fifth seed Aliassime fired 11 Aces in the match to 2 by Djumhur. He committed 5 double faults to 4 by Djumhur. But, the Canadian won 6 break points in the match to 2 by Djumhur. He also won 8 games in a row to 3 by World No 97 Djumhur. Both the players won 61 service points each in the match.
