Akshya Kumar’s film ‘Mission Mangal’ close to Rs 200 cr club

Patna : Jagan Shakti directorial ‘ Mission Mangal’, a space drama, starring Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Taapsee Pannu, Sonakshi Sinha, Kirti Kulhari, Nithya Mennen,and Sharman Joshi,  has turned out to be a super hit movie collecting over Rs 192 crore in 22 days since its release on August 15, 2019. It has already become Akshay Kumar’s highest money-spinning solo movie.

Made on a budget of Rs 32 crore, ‘Mission Mangal’, a 127 minutes film,  had grossed over Rs 128 crore in its first 8 days and nearly Rs 50 crore in the 2nd week. It did good business in 3rd week too. It was released on around 3,000 screens. The film had done a business of over Rs 29 crore on its first day week and is likely to enter Rs 200 crore club in the 4th week. Akshay Kumar’s last film ‘Kesari’ had collected over Rs 154 crore at box-office.
