Patna : Ajitabh Kumar, an IPS officer of 1997 batch and IG, Bihar Military Police (BMP), Bihar, was on April 20, 2017, appointed IG, CID, Bihar. Navin Chandra Jha, an IPS officer of 2009 batch and Commandant, BMP 10, Patna, with additional charge of Commandant, BMP 14, Patna, has been appointed SP (C), CID. The Home department issued a notification to this effect on April 20 itself. Faroguddin, a Bihar police service officer and assistant to IG, BMP, has been appointed Commandant, BMP 10, Patna, with additional charge of Commandant, BMP 14.
