Agut, Kudla, Kachanov enter QF of Halle Open

Patna : World No 109 in ATP rankings Denis Kudla, 25, USA, upset World Number 35 Stefanos Tsitsipas, 19, Greece, 6-3, 6-4, in the Round of 16 to enter the quarter-finals (QF) of Halle Open, Germany, a Grass Court event, on June 20, 2018. Both the players committed 3 double faults each in the match. Kudla hammaered 5 Aces while Tsitsipas fired 4 Aces.

World No 36 Karen Kachanov, 22, Russia, upset World No 27 Kei Nishikori, 28, Japan, 6-2, 6-2, in the Round of 16 to enter the quarter-finnone.als. Kachanos fired 7 Aces in the match to Nishikori’s just one. Kachanov also 4 break points compared to Nishikori’s none.

World No 16 Roberto Bautista Agut, 30, Spain, also entered the quarter-finals beating World No 43 Robin Hasse, 31, Netherlands, 6-4, 7-5, in the Round of 16 on June 20. Hasse fired 10 Aces in the match compared to 5 by Agut.  Agut also committed three double faults compared to 1 by Hasse. But, Agut won three break points to just one by Hasse.
