Agut, Berrettini reach final of Swiss Open

Patna : World No 17 in ATP rankings and second seed Roberto Bautista Agut, 30, Spain, and World No 84 Matteo Berrettini, 22, Italy, reached the final of Swiss Open Gstaad, a clay court tennis tournament in Switzerland, on July 28, 2018. The final match will be played on July 29 at 3 pm at Roy Emerson Arena.

Agut beat World No 101 Laslo Dere, 23, Serbia, in a three-set thriller 6-7, 6-4, 6-4 in the semi-finals. Dere fired 10 Aces in match to just one by Agut. Agust won three break points to 1 by Dere. Berrettini beat World No 107 Jurgen Zopp, 30, Estonia, 6-4, 7-6 in the semi-finals.

Zopp had stunned World No 14 and top seed Fabio Fognini, 31, Italy, in the Round of 16. Dere had defeated World No 21 and 3rd seed Borna Coric, 21, Croatia, in the Round of 16.
