Gopalganj : Navin Kumar, an Advocate, 45, was shot at and and critically injured in broad daylight by four motorcycle borne criminals near Bedutola under Thawe police station on October 21, 2020, when he was going to Gopalganj Civil Court on his bike.
Navin Kumar received six bullets on his body and fell down on Thawe-Gopalganj Road. He was rushed to Gopalganj Sadar Hospital from where he was referred to Gorakhpur Medical College and Hospital in view of his critical condition.
SP Gopalganj Manoj Tiwari said the district has been sealed and raids are being conducted to nab the assailants. The incident has triggered panic in the area.
Navin Kumar is resident of village Jamsadi under Uchakagaon police station in Gopalganj district. He was going to the court from his native village when the criminals fired on hin, according to police.
