Patna : Active cases count dropped to 43 in Bihar including 12 in Patna, down from 45 on October 15, 2021, as no new Covid-19 case was reported in the state till October 16, 2021, late evening. The state also did not report any new death due to Covid-19 in last 24 hours and the toll remained static at 9,861 on October 16, 2021.
Bihar has recorded 7,26,021 Covid-19 cases so far of which 7,16,316 patients have recovered including 2 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate (RR) standing at 98.66% on October 16, 2021. The state has tested 4,80,96,766 samples so far including 76,314 samples on October 15, 2021. Meanwhile, CM Nitish Kumar on October 16 reviewed the measures being taken by the State Health Department to combat Covid-19.
