Begusarai: A Begusarai court on September 30, 2016, sentenced one Hemant Kumar of village Matihani Sihma to life imprisonment for killing a fellow villager Rajiv Kumar on December 14, 2012. The court also slapped a fine of Rs 10,000 on the convict. Hemant had killed Rajiv and thrown the body into a ditch.
