ACC approves appointment of Amit Khare as Secretary, I&B

Patna : The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) on May 18, 2018, approved the appointment of Amit Khare, a 1985 batch Jharkhand cadre IAS officer, as Secretary, Department of Information & Broadcasting (I&B), on superannuation of incumbent N K Sinha, a 1980 batch Bihar cadre IAS officer, on May 31, 2018.

Rabindra Panwar, a 1985 batch Bihar cadre IAS officer and Additional Secretary & Financial Adviser, Ministry of Home Affairs, has been appointed Special Secretary & Financial Adviser, Ministry of Home Affairs, by temporarily upgrading the post, according to a PIB release.

Binoy Kumar, a 18983 batch IAS officer and Special Secretary, Logistics, Department of Commerce, has been appointed as Officer on Special Duty in the Ministry of Steel. He will take over as Secretary, Ministry of Steel, on superannuation of Ms Aruna Sharma, a 1982 batch IAS officer of MP cadre, August 31, 2018.

The ACC also approved the appointment of Rina Ray, a 1984 batch officer and Special Secretary, Department of School Education & Literacy, as Secretary, Department of School Education & Literacy, on superannuation of Anil Swarup, a 1981 batch UP cadre IAS officer, on June 30, 2018.

Ms Nilam Sahwney, a 1984 batch AP cadre IAS officer and Secretary, Central Vigilance Commission, has been appointed Secretary, Department of Social Justice & Empowerment.
