Aaganwadi Sevika killed in accident naer Ara Canal in Rohtas

Sasaram : An Aaganwadi Sevika was killed while her husband was seriously injured when a speeding truck dashed their Scooty from behind near Ara Canal road under Akodhigola police station in Rohtas district on June 1, 2019. The locals caught the driver of the truck and thrashed him.

Late, police rushed to the spot and arrested the driver and seized the truck. Police also brought the body over to Sasaram Sadar Hospital for post-mortem and admitted the injured at the Primary Health Centre (PHC). The deceased was identified as Seema Devi, 40, of village Neema.

SHO, Akodhigola police station, said that Seema Devi, an Aaganwadi Sevika, had gone to Dehari block on June 1 morning along with her husband Arun Choubey. When they were returning on their Scooty, a cement laden truck dashed their Scooty from behind killing Seema Devi on spot and injuring her husband Arun Choubey.
