A N Jha appointed Finance Secretary

Patna : Ajay Narayan Jha, 59, a 1982 batch IAS officer of Manipur cadre and Secretary, Department of Expenditure, Ministry, Government of India, has been appointed Finance Secretary. Incumbent Hasmukh Adhia, a 1981 batch Gujarat cadre IAS officer, retired on November 30, 2018. Jha is a product of St Stephens College, Delhi University.

The  Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved designating A N Jha, IAS (MN:1982), Secretary, Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance, as Finance Secretary, said a PIB release.
