Muzaffarpur IG alerts all SPs

Muzaffarpur : IG, Muzaffarpur Zone, Sunil Kumar, has directed the SPs of all the districts under his jurisdiction to remain alert following reports that terrorists might target railways installations on Republic Day. Intelligence agencies have received inputs that 30 SIMI have been trained for the purpose at the behest of Pakistani intelligence  agency ISI. The RPF and Government Railway Police stations have also asked to remain alert.ns

SRP, Samastipur, Virendra Narain Jha, said all the GRPs had been directed to inspect railway premises, tracks and railway bridges under their respective jurisdiction. To protect the railway tracks, running of pilot engines has been proposed, SRP Jha said. SSP, Muzaffarpur, Vivek Kumar has ordered for special deployment in naxal infested areas.
