Patna : Bihar reported 3,003 new Covid-19 cases including 544 in Patna in last 24 hours,down from 3,009 a day before, taking the tally of Active cases in the state to 19,578 on January 22, 2022, down from 22,775 on January 21, 2022. Bihar reported 10 new deaths including 2 in Patna , 2 in Gaya, and 1 each in Bhagalpur, Sitamarhi, Purnia, West Champaran, Nalanda, and Madhepura, in last 24 hours taking the toll to 12,183 in the state on January 22, 2022,
A total of 6,190 Covid-19 patients recovered in the state during last 24 hours with the recovery rate improving to 96.07% on January 22, 2022, from 95.66 % on January 21, 2022. Altogether 7,76,992 Covid-19 patients have recovered so far in the state. The state tested 1,51,121 samples in last 24 hours.
The new 3,003 Covid-19 cases included 544 in Patna, 294 in Begusarai, 213 in Samastipur, 148 in Madhepura, 129 in Muzaffarpur, 115 in Purnia, 113 in Saran, 103 in Banka, 99 in Munger, 98 in Rohtas, 81 in West Champaran, 80 in Bhagalpur, 76 in Vaishali, 64 in Bhojpur, 63 in Darbhanga, 63 in East Champaran, 59 in Araria, 57 in Katihar, 51 in Madhubani, 51 in Sitamarhi, 48 in Siwan, and 28 from other states, according to State Health Department figure.
