Samastipur : Unidentified armed criminals shot dead a Police Mitra Aniruddha Kumar, 35, near Bajrangi Chowk under Vidyapatinagar police station in Samastipur district in broad daylight on January 1, 2017. Aniruddha was shot dead when he was returning from a temple and heading towards his native village Kaiderabad under Bachhbara police station in Begusarai district. Police are investigating into the reason behind the murder.
